The Security Department at Wem’Afrika is committed to promoting peace, safety, and resilience in our communities. We address a wide range of security challenges both traditional and emerging through education, advocacy, and collaboration. Our goal is to build secure environments where individuals and societies can thrive without fear.

Nuclear Security

Ensuring the protection of nuclear materials and facilities to prevent theft, sabotage, or misuse. We advocate for awareness, policy engagement, and capacity building to strengthen nuclear safety and non-proliferation in Africa.

Food Security

Promoting access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food for all. We work to support sustainable agriculture, reduce hunger, and build resilience in vulnerable communities affected by conflict or environmental stress.

Global Security

Addressing cross-border and international threats including terrorism, cybercrime, and pandemics. We collaborate with global partners to enhance policy dialogue, crisis response, and peacebuilding.

Physical Protection

Safeguarding people, facilities, and assets from physical harm or intrusion. We implement preventive strategies, risk assessments, and training to strengthen community and institutional security systems.
